Canyons Men’s Golf Wins 2014 SoCal Championships
The College of the Canyons Men’s Golf program won the 2014 California Community College Athletic Association Southern California Team Championship on Monday afternoon. It’s the third SoCal Championship for the Cougars in program history.

Canyons shot a two round team total of 723. The Cougars opened up the day with a 364, before dropping four strokes in the second round with a 360. Canyons' Sidney Wolf led the charge with a pair of 68's winning the individual championship as well.
Other competing WSC schools on the day included Santa Barbara City College, who finished fourth overall and Ventura College and Glendale College who finished in 8th and 10th place respectively.
Canyons will advance to the 2014 CCCAA State Championships at Victoria Club in Riverside, CA on Monday May 12th. In addition to the Cougars team, Santa Barbara's Felix Mory and Blake McPherson, along with Ventura's Greg Robarge and Glendale's Evin Davis, will all advance to the 2014 State Championships as individuals.
