Four WSC Teams in CCCWBCA Pre-Season Poll
Four Western State Conference teams were ranked in the California Community College Women’s Basketball Coaches Association Pre-Season Poll. Ventura College, Los Angeles Valley College, College of the Canyons, and newcomer Antelope Valley College all were a part of the Top 20.

Ventura was the highest ranked team, checking in at #3, after a 2012-2013 campaign in which the Pirates went 27-4 overall and won the WSC North Division. Los Angeles Valley College was next in at #12, fresh off their WSC South Division crown in 2013 and 23-9 overall record. College of the Canyons, who 20-9 last season and moves to the North Division in 2013-14, came in at #15, and Antelope Valley College, who is in their first season in the WSC rang up at #20.
