Bakersfield Wins WSC South for First Divisional Title Since 2009
The Bakersfield College Women’s Volleyball program claimed the Western State Conference South Division Volleyball Championship in 2016. It was their first WSC divisional title since 2009 and their 7th overall.

The Renegades wrapped up the conference divisional title and undefeated conference record in the final conference game of the year. Bakersfield hosted second place College of the Canyons on Wednesday November 16th, and defeated a tough Cougar squad in four sets to claim the victory. Mackenzie Hernandez and Sophie Ralphs had 15 and 14 kills respectively, while liberal Hannah Pope added 19 digs in the win.
