2013 Western State Conference Golf News
The Santa Barbara City College Women’s Golf team continued it’s incredible 2013 season this past weekend with a team win at the 2013 Southern California Championships. The Vaqueros held off Orange Empire Conference Champion Fullerton College by 15 strokes, to also advance to the CCCAA State Championships.
The Santa Barbara City College Women’s Golf team wrapped up a magical 2013 season this past Monday and Tuesday at the Tracey Golf and Country Club. The Vaqueros held off Fullerton College by four strokes to claim the CCCAA State Championship with a two day team total of 646.
The Santa Barbara City College Women’s Golf team capped a perfect regular conference season this past weekend with a win in the 2013 Western State Conference Championships. It was the first Vaquero conference title since they won it back in 2008.
Santa Barbara City College’s Fanny Johansson capped off an impressive 2013 campaign this past weekend by being named the Western State Conference Player of the Year. The Winner of the 2013 WSC Championship and 2013 CCCAA State Championship, Johansson had the lowest average per round in the conference at 77.5. In addition Johansson was named to the All-State.
