Jenkins Garners Player of the Week Nod
Glendale sophomore outfielder Adonis Jenkins garnered California Community College Baseball Coaches Association (CCCBCA) SoCal Player of the Week honors for Week No. 8 (Mar. 9-15), announced Thursday.
Jenkins led the Vaqueros to a three-game series win over Canyons going 9-for-17 overall, tallying four homers and a double. In the series opener, he went yard three times, counting eight RBI on a 4-for-6 outing. He added a pair of RBI in his next appearance.
Jenkins is joined by LA Harbor sophomore Lucas Bauer, who was named SoCal Pitcher of the Week.
