Five WSC Teams in Latest SoCal Coaches Poll
The Western State Conference had five teams in the most recent California Community College Men’s Basketball Coaches Association Southern California Poll. In addition, three teams cracked the first State Rankings of the year.
The Western State Conference had five teams in the most recent California Community College Men's Basketball Coaches Association Southern California Poll. In addition, three teams cracked the first State Rankings of the year.
Antelope Valley College (WSC South) was the first team up ranked #6 in the State and #3 in the South after a 6-1 start to the year. Santa Monica College (WSC South) was behind the Marauders, ranked #18 in the State and #9 in the South after a 6-1 start of their own. The WSC North's first representative came in the form of Allan Hancock College, who was tabbed as the #20 team in the State and #10 team in the South after starting out 5-3 under first year Head Coach Tyson Aye. Bakersfield College (WSC South) and Citrus College (WSC South) were the final two WSC teams as they tied for #15 in the South going 5-2 and 4-2 so far on the young season respectively.
